There’s nothing worse than having cold fingers on an adventure. Keep your hands snug and warm in our Mittens 400. Boasting the ultimate comfort and insulation, our Mittens 400 are designed to help you attack the cold before it starts. Lined with our terry-loop knit, the Mittens 400 are a handy accessory providing a powerful layer of heat-trapping action to help you keep those digits warm. Our mittens are crafted with double layers of terry for optimal insulation.

Ullfrotté Original 400 gram can be used in colder conditions or when you don’t intend to move around much. Then it’s best to wear one of our thinner base layers underneath, such as Woolpower LITE or Ullfrotté 200, that are designed to be worn closest to the body. Warm but no good when hands wet.

These are nice and warm as inner mitt. BUT if your hand are wet and you need to take them of to do 'fine work', they are too difficult to put back on since the inner layer moves apart fro, the outer layer. This could compromise your safety in cold windy conditions since hand could freeze as you cannot get these mitts back on your wet hands.. For this reason I now do not use these, instead I used single layer thick felted inner mitts; easy to put back on wet hands.
