Brynje Wool Thermo Longs
SPECIAL ORDER  - Delivery 4-6 days.
Brynje Wool Thermo longs with full length legs, and solid knee inlays with no Fly.  Lightweight, super efficient. Excellent moisture transport capability, insulates and dries better than anything. Made with 80% Merino wool and 20% Polyamid. The Merino means it stays fresh smelling for days, making it ideal for multi-day activities.

Weight 170g

Brynje Classic Original mesh sticks to the core of the Brynje philosophy on keeping people “warm, dry, strong and happy”......except you can now have it in Merino!
It has been designed to meet the high performance needs of outdoor enthusiasts and the stringent requirements of some of the world’s top military soldiers, including Norwegian Special forces.
The concept is incredibly simply, and is based on the most efficient material you can use......air! Nothing breathes, insulates or dries like air! The Classic Original mesh garments are knitted double-sided using 80% Merino wool and 20% Polyamid, giving a super soft feel with a nice close fit.

The secret to the high performance of Brynje mesh clothing is that it draws excess moisture away from the skin while maintaining a warm regulated cushion of air next to the body. With conventional solid knit underwear the perspiration cannot escape quickly enough through the fabric so the fabric next to your skin becomes sodden and you quickly become cold. With the Brynje Classic Original the air pockets in between the mesh allow the body to “breathe” more easily and naturally, while maintaining the trapped air for insulation. This allows for superb body temperature regulation in hot to cold climates, and is the reason it has become popular with cyclist the world over, from the amateur to elite.
This key factor of super efficient moisture transportation coupled with the insulating properties of the trapped air will keep you surprisingly warm and dry during the most demanding activities.

Washing your Merino Wool product

  • Machine wash on wool program
  • Do not use chlorine or soak garment
  • Use wool detergent that does not contain enzymes / bleaches.
  • The garment should not be tumble-dried .
  • Remember not too much laundry in the washing machine.
  • Wool does not get dirty in the same way as other clothing, therefore, it is not necessary to wash it as often

The best option.

I have been using a previously bought pair of the Wool Thermo leggings for a year, only discontinuing their use in May, as they are so comfortable over a very wide range of temperatures. In milder weather they keep the waxed material of my hiking trousers off my skin, so are great to wear for an extended part of the year. Harder wearing than the pretty much identical offerings from other brands, there is no sign of my old pair wearing out but I decided another pair wouldn't go amiss. Cost per wear is really good, considering my older pair have getting on for 200 wears on them already and are still going strong. These leggings are the absolute best available, in my experience.

Ultra run

Wore these under some Gore trail leggings recently on a 58km trail run in the lake district. These kept me cool and warm throughout the day as required, improved ventilation, to the point I didn't even think about my legs during the whole day. Just what you want.

Very toasty

Using these as base layers for night time watching animals . I usually get too hot on the hike to the observation spot then get very cold quickly when standing around just watching. With a merino base layer over the top of these net type of layers and a fleece on top under a breathable jacket I’m not too warm and sweaty when walking and still warm when I’m standing. Great gear and will be using this company in the future. Customer service is very good.
Thanks

Very comfortable. Very good performance.

I've had a pair of super thermo (polypropylene) leggings for a while and whilst those are OK the wool thermos, which arrived just in time for the first heavy frost and which were just the thing underneath my unlofted waxed trousers, are much nicer to wear and worked very well in keeping me comfortable on a strenuous cross country walk. Very impressed.
