The Expedition Tour 135 is the result of several years of R & D involving designers, builders, and experienced users. The R & D process has paid off, with new Delta Wings that increase transverse stability and load capacity without significant sacrifices in friction or steering properties. This makes the ET 135 excellent in difficult terrain and in combination with kites. With the load capacity matching sledges from 150-160 cm, it’s still easy to get the ET 135 to an expeditions launch point due to the fact that it’s a shorter pulk.
The runners were changed in 2014 to Acapulka’s new unique low friction runner system called STSR. – Side Track Stabilizing Rail. Extraordinary glide with excellent side track stability.
As with all of Acapulka’s successful sledges, the ET 135 has a high rounded front section that helps it stay on top of deep snow.
The tough cover of the ET 135 is of top quality CORDURA.
Straps and D-rings holding your supplies are fastened directly to the hull of the sledge

Hard to say if this is the best pull in the world ? I certainly could carry 10 days of everything needed in it. My intent was to Carry 4 to 6 days to be self sufficient, however this is a big pulk in all honesty for capacity most certainly. Easy to pull and very spacious so I am pleased I have it, an investment for sure. I will modify it and add a
Ribbon webbing loop around the base where the red cover fixes to the pulk base to allow for attaching webbing to stuff placed on top. I am in two minds about inside or on top for some items and a webbing loop would help in attaching “stuff” on top. I have now seen several pulks while in Lapland 2025 and they all appear a bit different for sure and I don’t know if this is the best but it certainly fitted my needs and I imagine my 2026 adventure of maybe 21 days will suffice. Using light weight bags inside to carry things was a good move 1. Cooking 2. Food 3. Tent in different colour light weight bags means you lift out what you want and it’s not floating around the full sledge base.
