More than a helmet hat!

This was a great purchase because it fits under a variety of helmets very snugly. But it is also a great running beanie, and very lightweight general warm hat. Now has a permanent place in my grab-bag for hitting the trail.

Norwegian Head Gear Without The Horns

I've literally just got back from mountain biking around Ladybower reservoir in Derbyshire on a cool and sunny morning. The temperature was around 3 degrees with a light wind, just enough to chill the ears. The winter gloves went on, the Bryne wool string vest went on as did other layers under a waterproof jacket. It was a steady ride, no hard slogging up hills nor whizzing downhills, just enough to keep warm.
After being prompted to review this hat last night I decided to wear it under my helmet instead of my usual merino beanie. Everything was fine and my head was warm without getting overheated. At the end it wasn't ringing in sweat and therefore there wasn't that clammy feeling that then turns to cold. All in all a good buy.
I wouldn't say I was looking forward to wearing it under my ski helmet but if the weather is cold enough then I'm sure that it will be fit for purpose.

Brynje Super Thermo Helmet

Like the entire Brynje product line, the Super Thermo Helmet excels in function and comfort. Very small (I keep it in my pocket) and lightweight, the cap has great coverage, is super warm, and surprisingly wind resistant. I use it all the time while snowplowing here at 8,000 ft. in the Rocky Mtns. of Colorado.
Nordiclife was great getting everything to me here in the States in a timely fashion. Couldn't be happier!
